The Web Developer is responsible for designing, developing, customizing, and maintaining the company's internal web-based systems to optimize business operations. This role ensures that all applications are tailored to organizational workflows, remain secure, and integrate smoothly across departments. The position also supports IT infrastructure requirements, assists with documentation, and manages IT-related procurement, enabling seamless operations across the company.
Web Development & Systems Customization
- Design, develop, test, and deploy internal web applications tailored to company processes.
- Maintain, upgrade, and enhance existing internal systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Customize features based on evolving operational requirements and team feedback.
- Ensure all systems comply with company security standards and data privacy regulations.
Technical Documentation & Knowledge Management
- Create and maintain system architecture documents, API references, and change logs.
- Develop user manuals, installation guides, and technical specification sheets.
- Keep all documentation updated throughout the development lifecycle.
IT Infrastructure Support
- Provide basic IT troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Perform basic network switching, cabling, and configuration when necessary.
- Support field operations with on-site IT setup and hardware configuration.
Procurement & Asset Management
- Prepare technical specifications, RFQs, and vendor comparison reports for IT purchases.
- Coordinate with suppliers for quotations, timelines, and delivery schedules.
- Maintain IT asset inventories, procurement documentation, and compliance records.
- Ensure all IT purchases align with budget, quality, and company standards.
Results / Performance Outcomes
- Reliable, efficient, and secure internal web systems that meet operational needs.
- Timely updates and enhancements to systems based on department requests.
- Complete, clear, and accurate technical documentation available for all systems.
- Effective procurement processes with cost-optimized IT purchases.
