As the MPF Supervisor for Rockwell Performance Arts Theater, you will assume a pivotal role in overseeing the successful implementation of Mechanical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection (MPF) works. We are seeking a candidate with exceptional coordination skills, technical proficiency, and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse disciplines and stakeholders to ensure project excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Manage a team of MPF Coordinators/Inspectors, providing guidance and support to ensure effective execution of MPF works.
• Coordinate closely with structural, architectural, and electrical disciplines to integrate and supervise MPF works on-site, adhering meticulously to approved plans and specifications.
• Review and evaluate For Construction plans, approved specifications, Requests for Approval (RFA), and Requests for Clarification (RFC) related to MPF works.
• Liaise with MPF consultants to address clarifications or queries promptly, facilitating smooth progress of the project.
• Collaborate with the General Contractor's MPF Manager/Supervisor to align efforts and uphold project timelines and quality standards.
• Supervise the on-site implementation of MPF works, ensuring strict compliance with regulatory requirements and project specifications.
• Provide technical support and guidance to site teams, promptly resolving any issues or challenges related to MPF works.
• Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to uphold the highest standards of workmanship and safety throughout the project lifecycle.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation and records of MPF activities, including progress reports, approvals, and correspondence.

Qualifications:

• Licensed Mechanical Engineer with a proven track record in coordinating MPF works in construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, plumbing/sanitary, and fire protection systems, including relevant codes and standards.
• Detail-oriented individual with exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings, plans, and specifications.
• Ability to prioritize and manage tasks effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to lead technical teams effectively.
