  • Will be responsible for the development, support, and maintenance of mobile applications for Android devices on Android operating systems. Ability to create applications that are compatible with multiple Android versions and devices.
  • He/She will be working alongside other engineers and developers, collaborating on the various layers of the design architecture for the mobile payment platform.Qualifications: * Minimum of a bachelor's degree in a computer-related field or with an equivalent combination of education, experience, and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
  • Previous working experience as an Android developer for 3-5 years.
  • Proficient in Object-Oriented and Java programming languages.
  • Design and build applications for Android devices on the Android platform.
  • Maintain quality and ensure responsiveness of applications.
  • Maintain code integrity and organization.
  • Experience with Android SDK and multiple versions of Android.
  • Experience with Android frameworks/ design patterns such as:? RxAndroid: Reactive Extensions for Android
    ? ObjectBox object-oriented database? Realm x? MVP Design Pattern
  • Experience in developing QR code generation and scanners.
  • Must be familiar with RESTful APIs to connect to Android applications to back-end services.
  • Experience with Android UI principles and best practices.
  • Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and the available libraries.
  • Experience in developing mobile payment applications is a plus but not required.
  • Development experience with touch/fingerprint authentication, or other sensors.
  • Knowledge of App Store mobile app packaging and publishing for commercial apps.
  • Knowledge of code versioning tools such as Git, Mercurial, or SVN.
  • General Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Develop new features/functions, support, and maintain ACSS mobile applications.
  • Collaborate with the rest of the engineering team to design and launch new features or resolve production issues.
  • Build innovative, state-of-the-art applications and collaborate with the development team.
  • Ensure UI design and implementations are consistent across applications.
  • Prepare and maintain all applications utilizing standard development tools.
  • Utilize backend data services and contribute to increasing existing data services API.
  • Lead the mobile development life cycle right from concept stage to delivery and post-launch support.
  • Convey effectively all task progress, evaluations, suggestions, and schedules along with technical and process issues.
  • Document the development process, architecture, and standard components.
  • Coordinate with do-developers and keeps project manager well informed of the status of development effort and serve as a liaison between development staff and project manager.
  • Keep abreast of new trends and best practices in web development.Job Type: Full-timeSalary: Up to Php70,000.00 per monthBenefits:
