    Reservations Agent, be 100% YOU with MicroSourcing

    A Reservations Agent is expected to:
    • Handle reservations calls, including new bookings, existing bookings, and inquiries, following Quality guidelines set by Clients.
    • Ensure guests are informed about operational policies such as credit card usage, cancellations, car parking, and check-in/check-out times.
    • Implement vigilant yield management, selling within rate ranges, maximizing rates, and identifying yield events or opportunities.
    • Focus on converting booking inquiries to achieve occupancy and average rate budgetary targets.
    • Sell all rooms at rates that maximize owner returns and management commission while upselling property facilities.
    • Monitor last room availability and advise Rate Loaders to Stop Sell allocations of last rooms available through the channel manager SiteMinder.
    • Track sales promotions/advertising in the Customer Management System (CMS) and ensure accurate data entry for effective tracking and reporting.
    • Send daily reports to supervisors with statistical information as required by policies and procedures.
    • Perform any additional duties as required by the Floor Manager, Call Centre Operations Manager, Reservations Coordinator, Revenue Managers, or General Manager of Revenue.
    • Enter confirmed reservations into CMS, ensuring accurate data entry in Guest Information & Data Fields.
    • Ensure honest, open, and professional communication with customers, employees, and others
    • Regularly communicate with Hotel Managers and Head Office departments as appropriate
    • Foster a harmonious relationship between properties and the Central Reservations Office
    • Notify relevant managers of any issues immediately and provide appropriate solutions.
    What it takes to be part of our team:
    • Has at least 1-2 years of BPO (Business Process Outsourcing) experience.
    • Able to speak and understand English proficiently.
    • Demonstrates good comprehension skills and can express themselves effectively in English.
    • Computer literate with the ability to multitask and toggle between tools efficiently.
    • Familiarity with basic office tools such as Word, Excel, Outlook, and MS Teams.
    • No history of attendance infractions, indicating reliability and punctuality.
    • Amenable to a shifting schedule, showcasing flexibility in working hours.
    • Willingness to render overtime, depending on business needs, indicating adaptability to workload fluctuations.
