The Talent

As a Junior Solutions Architect, you'll be part of a collaborative team focused on learning how to design and support cloud-based solutions that address real business challenges.

In this role, you'll work alongside experienced architects and consultants to understand client needs, analyze business processes, and explore how technology can improve performance and efficiency. You'll be exposed to best practices in ERP, AI-driven solutions, and enterprise systems while developing the skills needed to translate technical concepts into practical business outcomes.

A successful Junior Solutions Architect is eager to learn and comfortable asking questions. You enjoy reviewing requirements, reports, and system artifacts, and you're motivated to understand how software can solve business problems. With guidance, you'll help demonstrate how Appficiency's solutions address customer needs and contribute ideas that improve how our products and services are delivered.

You'll collaborate closely with delivery, pre-sales, and product teams—especially in R&D initiatives—using customer insights to support solution improvements and help shape the evolution of our existing and future offerings. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who is passionate about technology, ERP systems, and continuous learning in a fast-paced, cloud-first environment.

The Commitment

• Support senior architects in designing and delivering business solutions within but not limited to the NetSuite ecosystem.
• Participate in discovery sessions to understand client business challenges and technical needs.
• Assist with solution blueprints/diagrams, workflows, data maps, and integration proposals.
• Learn and support NetSuite configuration, basic customization, and data preparation.
• Test and validate solutions.
• Help document technical specs, process flows, and best practices.
• Actively engage in learning ERP, AI-driven solution enhancements, and Appficiency R&D frameworks.
• Provide guidelines on how the technology can offer value to our customers that includes selling and delivery content
• Based on management guidance, actively research and learn new business technologies from both functional and technical perspectives
• Identify emerging business applications, platforms, and tools that complement our NetSuite and Salesforce practice or those that can foster a new line of business
• Develop roadmaps for new solutions and potential lines of business that Appficiency can support
• Evaluate integration opportunities between NetSuite, Salesforce and other business applications such as CRM, ERP, Project, Field Service, Transportation Management, and Estimating tools based on industry trends
• Create value proposition documentation that articulates how new technologies can benefit our customers
• Develop selling and delivery content including service descriptions, solution briefs, and implementation frameworks
• Research AI-driven solution enhancements and automation opportunities within the ERP ecosystem
• Assist in creating internal documentation, training materials, and knowledge resources for new technologies
• Stay current on industry trends, competitive offerings, and emerging best practices

The Essentials

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or any related field.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply, or candidates with 1–2 years of professional experience as a Software Developer, Application Developer, or similar technical role.
• Strong passion for Research & Development (R&D) and a keen interest in AI, ERP systems, and emerging technologies.
• Foundational programming knowledge (e.g., PHP, Java, JavaScript, Python, or similar) with an eagerness to expand into enterprise platforms.
• Interest in learning ERP concepts, business process design, and solution architecture (NetSuite experience not required).
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with evolving priorities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate clearly and collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Highly motivated, self-driven, and eager to learn new systems and frameworks.
• Amenable to working on EST hours (night shift) to support clients and global teams.
