    Job Description

    • The Senior Solutions Specialist is responsible for assisting Implementation project teams to deliver Dayforce configuration that follow best practices.
    • Provides limited customer support to clients that are awaiting implementation of their Dayforce product.
    • Delivers long-term solutions to fix configuration gaps identified by Dayforce customers post go-live that meet the documented customer requirements in the statement of work (SOW).

    The role requires confirming and/or gathering requirements, identifying data and configuration issues, and architecting a scalable and robust solution.

    • Mentors and consults with team members.
    • Documents implementation process gaps and incorporates best practices.

    The Senior Solutions Specialist works with internal teams across the organization to improve implementation quality and minimize rework post go-live.

    Responsibilities

    • Confirm, gather, understand and document customer requirements.
    • Consults customers on various options to address business requirements.
    • Writes SQL code to identify, troubleshoot and fix data as well as configuration issues in the customer's Dayforce instance.
    • Understands, troubleshoots and modifies XML and XSLT code.

    The role also involves project management, including creating and following a project plan, providing customers with significant and timely updates, prioritizing and managing multiple projects for a customer, and maintaining strong relationships.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant software/computer related fields.
    • 4+ years of support experience or equivalent.
    • Superior communication, organizational and problem-solving skills.

    The ideal candidate will have a high level of proficiency with SQL, XML and XSLT, previous client support, consulting and/or project management experience, and French language skills.
