    Type of Work: HYBRID work environment, work in office (2 or 3 days a week, depending on frequency of meetings), while the rest of the week is work from home.

    This is an entry level position, suitable for those with no prior experience. The position requires usage of software such as excel, sage/peachtree, quickbooks, MYOB, Xero, or SAP. Knowledge or experience in using these accounting software programs is a plus.

    Under a supervisor, the data entry associate will be guided to fill in data from transactions into the proper template, reporting correctly the figures from source documents.

    Responsibilities:
    • Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded
    • Update accounts receivable and issue invoices
    • Update accounts payable and perform reconciliations
    • Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines
    • Assist with reviewing of expenses, payroll records etc. as assigned
    • Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed
    • Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports
    • Assist senior accountants in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings
    • Assist with other accounting projects

    Requirements and skills:
    • Any accounting related or finance related course, preferably with accounting subjects in college.
    • Fresh Graduates can apply
    • Excellent organizing abilities
    • Great attention to detail
    • Good with numbers and figures and an analytical acumen
    • Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices
    • Excellent knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with relevant computer software (e.g. SAP), is an advantage
    • Knowledge in excel, sage/peachtree, quickbooks, MYOB, Xero, is an advantage
