• BA or BS Degree required in Design (Graphic, Interaction, Visual Communications, Product, etc.) or Computer Science.
• Minimum 2 years of UXUI Design experience.
• Strong design portfolio with examples of consistent designs and clear visuals across web applications (not just static websites).
• Knowledge on other areas of the design process including Interaction Design and animation would be seen as a major advantage.
• Proven ability in the design of typography, iconography, colour, texture, motion, layout and overall web design is essential.
• Experience and expertise in high-level product strategy.
• Expertise in using Figma (both for designs and prototypes) and Adobe Creative Suite like Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Knowledge in animation tools such Flinto, Lottie and After Effects.
• Basic HTML, CSS3, and JavaScript skills are a plus.
• Must be well-versed in current Web standards, including best practices for usability and accessibility.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and in writing.
• Exceptional organizational and visual skills with ability to cope on tight schedules.
• Chinese communication skills are not essential but would be seen as a major advantage.
• Collaborative and innovative approach to Design.
• Work under the guidance of the Product Owner and UI Design Manager to collaborate with the UI and Product Teams in delivering project requirements.
• Contribute to the creative and holistic thinking across diverse product releases, platforms, and devices.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with the Product, Design and Engineering teams to ensure a smooth product development process.
• Create working prototypes to visually explain the intended behavior of the proposed design solution.
• Use a variety of methods to conceptualize, illustrate and document design decisions including mood boards, wireframes, mockups, interface animations and other graphics
• Designs standard UI elements, components and contributes to style guides
• Effectively communicate designs to developers, PMO and product managers.
• Ensure consistency is achieved and maintained throughout the products.
• Execute in a fast-paced and highly fluid environment requiring independent self-direction with a proclivity for team collaboration and open communication.
• Assist in User Acceptance Testing on design elements, based on the UI concepts developed for the product.
