    DEL MONTE PHILIPPINES, INC. is in need of: Accounts Payable Accountant

    Responsibilities

    • An Accounts Payable (AP) accountant will focus on analysis & resolving discrepancies and implementing process improvements of vendor accounts for efficiency and financial health.
    • Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies, data entry holds, and other AP issues.
    • Follow-up Procurement, Storeroom & Operations for advances made by the company that are not yet received or service not yet rendered to DMPI.
    • Follow through bookings temporarily lodged to Mindanao Account Holdings including payroll bookings.
    • Support month end closing by booking accruals to meet closing deadline.
    • Resolve bank reconciliation items involving cancellation & replacement of checks paid to suppliers.
    • Receive funds, books & issue receipts.
    • Manage & book cash disbursements via revolving fund.
    • Do daily reconciliation of cash receipts and disbursements.
    • Lodge payables online & clearing of BOC payments.
    • Issue manual check payments to urgent local suppliers.
    • Provide excellent customer service to external & internal partners.
    • Provide information to Treasure for cash flow purposes.

    Qualifications:

    • Certified Public Accountant
    • Experience in AP an advantage.
    • Must be willing to work onsite at Cagayan de Oro, Misamis Oriental.
    • Amenable to work on a 6-day workweek schedule.
