- Assist in team management by co-facilitating huddles and meeting together with the manager, help in planning/managing leaves and daily volume priorities, support the manager in driving goals set-up by the Trade & Working capital Management, create an inclusive environment for all employees and share regular and constructive feedback with your makers to reduce rejects.
- Ensure that the transactions are processed as per JPMorgan & Chase Co. policies as well as International Chamber of Commerce Rules like UCP600 (Uniform Customs and Practice for Documentary Credits), ISBP (), URR725 (Uniform Rules for Bank-to-Bank Reimbursements), etc.
- Monitor queues and assignment of transaction to the team including pending follow-up and ensure all transactions assigned to the team are completed with utmost quality as per agreed service level agreement.
- Identify any red flags/ Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) regulatory issues/ Anti Money Laundering(AML) & Boycott language breach in the transaction and escalate for review.
- Adopt best practices by partnering with other transaction processing teams and display willingness to go above & beyond to ensure timely delivery.
- Identify and escalate issues in a prompt and timely manner which may impact service.
- Work collaboratively, shares information, and effectively communicates with team members, departmental management and partners in Sales, Service and Product.
- Process orientation with ability to understand upstream and downstream implications.
- Perform detailed research and resolve issues independently while processing with a mindset of accuracy and attention to detail. Able to prioritize work and multi-task without making errors.
- Actively participate in new projects.
- Maintain control of the environment in respect of JPMorgan & Chase Co. policies and the local regulatory rules.
- At least 5 years of Trade work experience ad well-versed in UCP600 (Uniform Customs and Practice for Documentary Credits), ISBP (), URR725 (Uniform Rules for Bank-to-Bank Reimbursements), etc.
- Bachelor's degree is required.
- Requires strong computer skills, common PC based software packages including MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Must be fluent in English language: Excellent Verbal, Written & Presentation skills.
- Understanding of US Regulations & OFAC Compliance.
- Must be amenable to work in any shift, as necessary.
- Background in Banking industry is an advantage preferably with Accounting and Finance background.
- (CDCS) Certificate for Documentary Credit Specialists & (CITF) Certificate in International Trade and Finance certifications will be an added preference.
