    Job Details:

    CR Fence & Handrail is seeking an adept Full Stack Developer to spearhead our e-commerce platform's development. This role requires mastery in Blade, PHP, and JavaScript, with responsibilities spanning both the client and server sides of our application. The ideal candidate will navigate complex development challenges, ensuring a seamless, responsive, and intuitive user experience.

    The software is part data management, part process management, and part logic/calculation/thinking (BI).

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Business Analytics/Reporting Design & Understanding & Data Architecture (30%)

    1. Understand the overall needs of all departments and how the common data can/will be used to help all departments
    2. Understand the user story/case to code out the expected outcome (not necessarily what you are told to fix/code, as user might not understand what's possible/not possible with code; or loosely coupled coding)
    3. Help expand and use API endpoints and scraper to better accomplish the data accuracy and reporting needed by our sales, operation and finance department

    2. Front & Backend Development (60%)

    • Oversee end-to-end web software development, from frontend UI/UX design using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
    • Sync and deploy code to GitHub and digital ocean
    • Manage any new programmer (in the future)
    • Daily update and deployment of code is EXPECTED (for small updates and bug fixing). Even with larger codes, daily or semi-daily deployment is expected to sprint.

    3. Collaboration and Innovation (10%)

    1. Lead cross-functional teams to integrate user feedback into product enhancements, leveraging Git and GitHub for version control and collaborative development. Advocate for best practices in web architecture, ensuring robust database management.

    Requirements:

    Role Requirements:

    • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, demonstrating a successful track record in full-stack development, particularly in an e-commerce context.
    • Deep front-end and back-end development expertise, specifically with Blade, PHP Laravel, and JavaScript. Knowledge of web architecture, database storage, and design fundamentals to create engaging and efficient web applications.
    • Proficiency in Git, GitHub, and HTTP/REST for seamless development and deployment processes.

    Role Preferential:

    • Scrum or ScrumMaster certified
    • Experience in scrum
    • Any development theory/BI/BA certifications

    Education:

    • Bachelor's or equivalent

    Experience:

    • 6-10 years relevant experience

    Management:

    • 1-3 years experience

    Hardware Required:

    • This level of hardware is sufficient for more demanding tasks such as browsing multiple browser tabs, video editing, and graphic design.
    • The hardware requirements for this level are higher than the basic level, and a mid-range computer or laptop will be required.

    Recruitment Process

    1. The recruitment process is all initially at your pace. We only do in-person interviews in the final step. We will initially ask yes/no & numeric questions to verify your relevant experience.
    2. We will ask you to list out your key responsibilities from your previous companies.
    3. We will then ask you to demonstrate past responsibilities to support your list of key responsibilities and success metrics.
    4. Then we will select a few applicants to do a paid trial task (we will provide actual problems/issues we face that you will try to resolve).
