    Our client, an esteemed Italian restaurant located in Pasig, is seeking a passionate and experienced Kitchen Manager to oversee the culinary operations of their establishment. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in a similar role and a deep understanding of Italian cuisine.
    Responsibilities:
    Overall Kitchen Management:
    • Manage the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow.
    • Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure high-quality dishes are consistently delivered to customers.
    • Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to maintain adequate stock levels.

    Menu Development:
    • Collaborate with the head chef and restaurant management to develop and update the menu, incorporating seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
    • Ensure menu items are cost-effective and align with the restaurant's concept and brand.

    Staff Supervision and Training:
    • Recruit, train, and supervise kitchen staff, including chefs, cooks, and kitchen assistants.
    • Provide ongoing training and coaching to ensure all team members adhere to food safety standards and maintain a high level of culinary skill.

    Quality Control:
    • Conduct regular inspections of food preparation areas, equipment, and storage facilities to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
    • Implement and maintain hygiene and sanitation standards to uphold food quality and safety.

    Budget Management:
    • Assist in the development of annual budgets for the kitchen department, including labor and food costs.
    • Monitor expenses and implement cost-saving measures where necessary to optimize profitability.

    Requirements:
    • At least 2 years of experience in a kitchen manager role, preferably in an Italian restaurant setting.
    • Proven track record of managing the operations of a busy kitchen and delivering high-quality cuisine.
    • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire kitchen staff.
    • In-depth knowledge of Italian cooking techniques, ingredients, and recipes.
    • Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices.
