    We're Hiring: AU Financial/Management Accountant (WFH)

    MPloyOS, Inc. is a fast-growing offshoring and outsourcing company that helps Australian and other global businesses build exceptional remote teams in the Philippines.

    We are currently seeking for Financial Controller who will takes responsibility for a range of company accounting, finance, and administration activities. This may include accounts payable, accounts receivable, bookkeeping, payroll, BAS, FBT, various annual returns including the R&D claim, bank reconciliations, maintenance of asset registers, preparation of internal management reports such as budgets and forecasts, and various other accounting-related tasks. The Financial Controller may also be tasked with a range of other administrative duties as directed by the Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    Accounts management

    • Accounts payable, including paying suppliers in multiple currencies and managing the staff expense reimbursement system.
    • Accounts receivable, including generating invoices, managing payment methods, and managing the customer payment process.

    Bookkeeping

    • Entering all transactions into the Company's Xero accounting system.
    • Bank reconciliations across multiple accounts in multiple currencies.
    • Using company system for inventory and invoice/purchase order management.

    Financial accounting

    • Manage the Company's asset register, including by conducting internal audits and managing the depreciation schedule.
    • Liaise with the Company's external accountants to prepare the annual tax return, financial statements, R&D claim and various government grants.
    • Perform General Ledger reconciliation to ensure accuracy.
    • Direct the preparation of all monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for executive management and the Board.
    • Review and manage insurance renewals to ensure appropriate coverage, manage claims and audits.

    Management accounting

    • Prepare internal budgets, financial forecasts, and customer and supplier due diligence reports.
    • Prepare profitability analysis reports and internal costing estimates for a range of products and projects.
    • Prepare financial modelling and scenario analysis as instructed by CEO.

    Payroll

    • Manage the payroll, including by maintaining the staff register, validating timesheets, and ensuring compliance with ATO, SGC, and Award rules.
    • Prepare and manage the staff roster, and manage staff leave requests.
    • Manage HR administrative tasks, including draft employment contracts, on-board and off-board staff in accordance with company procedures.

    Office administrative tasks

    • Manage various office administration tasks as may be directed by the CEO, eg. Fund raising support.

    Requirements:

    • Three years of proven experience in a Financial Accounting or Management Accounting role, with ambitious to grow into a Financial Controller in AU/NZ company.
    • Experience using Xero or similar accounting package.
    • Experience working as an Australian/NZ accountant.
    • High-level bookkeeping, general administration skills and managing payroll.
    • Working knowledge of Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) compliance obligations.
    • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
    • Expert MS Office user.
    • Degree qualified in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CA or CPA qualification preferred or working towards)
