Our client is a global fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) organisation that specialises in food manufacturing.

Job Description

Optimises the Supply Chain

• Responsible for working closely with all business units operating in the Asia markets to develop and enhance the overall efficiency of the supply chain.
• Responsible for implementing vital business processes on-site to optimise productivity and improve standardisation.
• Expected to collaborate with the Asia Supply Leadership Team and other relevant stakeholders to identify priorities and allocate resources to improve service levels, NPD, and cost-saving measures.
• Ensure that the site delivers a year-on-year COGS savings, which can be achieved by closely monitoring sustainability and other cost-saving projects.

Environmental, Health, and Safety

• Responsible for creating and maintaining a safe working environment for all individuals present on the site, including associates, contractors, and visitors.
• Ensure that all individuals follow safe work practices, minimising the risk of accidents or injuries.
• Ensure adherence to the company's and the Philippine's local Environmental, Safety, & Health regulations.
• Accountable for responding to emergencies and manufacturing crises on-site.
• Responsible for reporting and communicating with external regulatory authorities regarding any prescribed regulatory issues associated with the site.
• Responsible for creating a culture of well-being and safety behaviour throughout the facility and fostering a positive work environment that prioritises the well-being and safety of all individuals present.

Food Safety, and Quality

• Responsible for ensuring the site's adherence to the company's internal and external Quality and Food Safety standards.
• Responsible for guaranteeing the site's strict compliance with the Food Safety and Quality requirements mandated by the Philippines FDA and Developing Asia markets.

Efficiently Converts Raw Materials into Finished Goods

• Ensuring the timely and high-quality execution of all approved projects by the Change Advisory Board (CAB) on-site.
• Identifying and managing business continuity risks linked with all site operations.
• Leading the delivery of all new product launches, factory scale-up activities, re-formulation trials, etc., in collaboration with the Research & Development and Technical Services teams.
• Serving as the champion for critical decision-making processes that impact the business.

The Successful Applicant

• Hold advanced academic qualifications in an engineering or science discipline and have a proven track record of leadership in a manufacturing environment, with a particular emphasis on safety and quality.
• Possesses extensive experience across multiple roles working alongside site operations, including a comprehensive understanding of manufacturing operations, TPM/FMOS methodologies, and end-to-end supply chain coordination.
• Strong people leadership skills and a commitment to employee development.
• Possession of an entrepreneurial mindset, a deep understanding of company operations, and business acumen.
• Has proven a history of achieving results and driving change within a constantly changing environment by leading multifunctional teams.
