    Job Overview

    We are seeking a Mid-to-Senior Software Engineer (QA & Full-Stack) to support a rapidly scaling AI-augmented development environment. As development velocity increases through AI tooling, rigorous validation and structured quality assurance are critical.

    This role is responsible for stabilizing an existing Vue 2 / Firebase ecosystem while building the first formal QA framework to validate high-output AI-generated code. You will serve as the final gatekeeper for quality, ensuring that speed does not come at the cost of performance, reliability, or user experience.

    This is a high-ownership role ideal for a detail-oriented engineer who thrives in both building and testing, and who can independently define and uphold a strong "Definition of Done."

    Key Responsibilities

    QA Infrastructure & Process Ownership

    • Establish and implement the first formal QA process, including automated test suites and manual "sanity check" protocols.

    • Develop structured validation workflows for AI-generated code.

    • Act as the final gatekeeper for code quality before deployment.

    Core Development & Stabilization

    • Maintain and scale a Vue 2 application (Options API, Vuex, Vue Router).

    • Identify, document, and resolve bugs in both the Vue 2 frontend and Firebase backend.

    • Optimize Firebase queries and ensure frontend performance remains strong.

    • Ensure stability while development output accelerates.

    Feature Validation & Testing

    • Design, write, and execute unit and end-to-end (E2E) tests.

    • Utilize frameworks such as Cypress, Jest, or Playwright.

    • Review and test features developed via AI-augmented tools to validate logic, prevent regressions, and ensure UI/UX consistency.

    • Validate AI-generated code snippets to ensure business requirements are met.

    Modern Development Workflow

    • Leverage AI-augmented tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, LLM-based coding) responsibly to accelerate development while maintaining oversight.

    • Apply advanced Git workflows, including branching strategies, pull request reviews, and merge conflict resolution.



    Requirements

    Qualifications

    Core Development (5+ Years)

    • JavaScript (Expert): Deep understanding of ES6+, asynchronous programming, and state management.

    • 2 (3+ Years): Professional experience maintaining and scaling Vue 2 applications. Must be comfortable working in a Vue 2 environment despite the industry shift toward Vue 3.

    • Google Firebase (3+ Years): Hands-on experience with Firestore, Firebase Authentication, Cloud Functions, and Hosting.

    Quality Assurance & Testing

    • Strong experience in both manual and automated testing.

    • Proven ability to design and implement E2E and unit testing frameworks.

    • Demonstrated capability to validate AI-generated code without introducing regressions.

    Soft Skills

    • Exceptional attention to detail — proactively identifying edge cases others miss.

    • Self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently and define quality standards.

    • Fluent English (written and verbal) with the ability to clearly communicate complex technical issues to stakeholders.
