    Responsibilities

    1) Product strategy & roadmap

    • Define deposits vision, positioning, and roadmap aligned to bank strategy, funding needs (CASA mix), and customer segments.
    • Build business cases for new products/features (e.g., high-yield savings, buckets/goals, sweep, overdraft link, payroll accounts, TD ladders).
    • Maintain a clear prioritization framework balancing growth, profitability, risk, and regulatory constraints.

    2) Lifecycle ownership (build → launch → run)

    • Own the entire customer journey: acquisition, onboarding/KYC, account opening, funding, daily usage, servicing, retention, and reactivation.
    • Specify product requirements (PRDs), acceptance criteria, and user stories; partner with tech squads to deliver in agile sprints.
    • Ensure high-quality releases with strong UAT, monitoring, and incident learnings.

    3) Pricing, profitability & ALM alignment

    • Own rate strategy (base/teaser/tiered rates), fees, and campaign pricing in partnership with Treasury/ALM & Finance.
    • Manage P&L levers: cost of funds, interest expense, interchange/fee income, incentives, operating costs.
    • Design controls to prevent "rate-chasing" and manage concentration risk (e.g., caps, segmentation, tiering).

    4) Growth, engagement & retention

    • Drive deposit inflows through product-led growth: onboarding conversion, first-fund experience, nudges, recurring transfers, salary credits.
    • Partner with Growth/Marketing on offers (cashback, rate boosters, referral, payroll) with clear ROI measurement.
    • Improve day-to-day engagement: statements, insights, spend/earn summaries, goals, alerts, card/account linkages.

    5) Risk, compliance & controls

    • Embed controls for KYC/AML, fraud prevention, transaction monitoring, limits, dormant/escheatment processes, and regulatory disclosures.
    • Own product policies and guardrails (account limits, velocity rules, blocked countries, sanctions checks, payout controls).
    • Ensure auditability of product decisions and a clean trail of approvals.

    6) Operational excellence & customer outcomes

    • Reduce operational friction: disputes, reversals, chargebacks (if applicable), account maintenance, closures, interest/fee computations.
    • Improve customer experience and reduce contact drivers through better in-app flows and self-serve.
    • Partner with Ops to maintain strong SOPs, SLAs, and training.

    7) Data-driven product management

    • Define key metrics, dashboards, and event tracking.
    • Run experiments (A/B tests) to improve conversion and retention, ensuring statistical discipline and proper guardrails.
    • Conduct cohort analysis, funnel diagnostics, and segmentation to identify high-value behaviors and leakage.

    Requirements:

    • Experience and expertise as a Digital Banking Product Manager.
    • Passionate about product design and development.
    • Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle, particularly in Agile environments.
    • Familiarity with technical architecture such as the use of APIs, cloud services, SaaS, etc.
    • Good communication and interpersonal skills as the role requires to communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
    • Knowledgeable of digital banking products and services.
    • Self-Driven, energetic team player who is able to work with ambiguity and under pressure.
