Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Control (QC) Officer to join our commissary operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring food safety, quality standards, and regulatory compliance within our central production facility. This role plays a critical part in maintaining product integrity and supporting operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct quality inspections of raw materials upon receiving
- Monitor food preparation, cooking, cooling, and storage processes
- Ensure compliance with HACCP, GMP, and food safety standards
- Perform routine hygiene and sanitation audits
- Monitor temperature logs and critical control points
- Verify labeling, packaging, and traceability requirements
- Investigate non-conformities and implement corrective actions
- Prepare quality reports and maintain documentation
- Support internal and external audits
- Train staff on food safety and quality standards
Qualifications & Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Microbiology, Hospitality Management, or related field
- HACCP Certification (preferred)
- 1–3 years of experience in food production, catering, or commissary environment
- Strong knowledge of GMP and food safety regulations
- Excellent documentation and reporting skills
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
