    We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Tax Junior Associate. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing expert tax advice, ensuring compliance with relevant laws, and contributing to the overall success of our tax department.

    As a Tax Junior Associate, you'll have the chance to:

    • Prepare tax opinion/memoranda/advice across a range of tax matters including cross-border transactions, mergers and acquisition, corporate restructuring, and other tax-related concerns and issues
    • Secure tax rulings from the Bureau of Internal Revenue to clarify areas in tax laws and to confirm the tax treatment of particular transactions
    • Handle tax examinations or assessments of clients by government authorities such as the Bureau of Internal Revenue and Bureau of Customs including preparation of position papers and protest letters, and follow-ups and discussions with revenue officers on their findings.
    • Assist clients in one-time transactions such as transfer/donation of properties and settlement of estates
    • Assist clients in business organization, registration, post-registration, expansion, spin-offs, mergers, or closure of business and represent them before government agencies such as the Securities and Exchange Commission, Bureau of Internal Revenue, Local Government Units, Social Security System, Philippine Health Insurance Corporation, and Home Development Mutual Fund.

    Qualifications:

    • Must be a Philippine Bar Examination Passer.
    • CPA certification is a plus but not required.
    • Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
    • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
    • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work.
    • Prior experience in tax law or related fields is advantageous but not required.
