- Bank account reconciliation: Main task of being responsible for the weekly bank reconciliation of all bank accounts across the company
- Month-end: Performing reconciliations, journal entries, GL ledger reports and assisting where possible in the month-end close process.
- Balance sheet reconciliations: Responsible for some reconciliations such as liabilties and prepayments
- Liquidity management: Undertake key bank transfers weekly for liquidity needs involving both PHP and USD transactions
- Payments: Recording of invoices received from suppliers to ensure that First Circle pays on time and as expected. These will be uploaded onto the accounting software with all details correct for payment.
- Audit: Assisting in the quarterly and yearly audits First Circle must undertake
- Ad-hoc: Other ad-hoc assistance for the Accounting, Treasury & Capital Markets team members where needed
- Under 1 year of working experience including fresh graduates
- Must have a Bachelor's degree in finance or any other relevant area, aspirations to be a CMA, CPA or CTA would be supported, but not necessarily needed. Having a baseline grasp of accounting standards is fine.
- Knowledge of BIR, BSP, SEC and related compliance is preferred but not essential.

About the Role
First Circle's Finance team is in an exciting phase of growth where we are hiring a Junior Finance Associate who is ready to rapidly progress through the ranks. This role will have exposure to the whole Finance team and processes, and key roles will be:
The successful candidate will have broad exposure to the full finance function, gradually developing across all of our core processes as they progress through the company - Financial Reporting, Treasury, Taxes, and FP&A. As they grow, they will have the opportunity to specialize in favored areas.
