Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for an Executive Chef, located in Laoag.
The Executive Chef will oversee all kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and ensuring the quality of dishes served.
Responsibilities include supervising kitchen staff, maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations, managing inventory, and controlling food costs.The Executive Chef will also collaborate with management to create seasonal and innovative menu offerings, focusing on culinary excellence and efficiency.
QualificationsCulinary skills in a variety of local and international cuisines, expertise in menu development, and knowledge of current food trends
Proven experience in managing kitchen operations, including staff supervision, inventory control, and cost management
Strong understanding of food safety standards, hygiene practices, and sanitation regulations
Leadership, communication, and team collaboration skills to effectively manage and motivate the kitchen staff
Ability to innovate and create new recipes while meeting business goals
Previous experience in a luxury dining or high-volume restaurant is advantageous
Culinary or hospitality management degree is preferred
Commitment to providing high-quality dining experiences in an upscale environment
