- Modelling end-sector supply/demand for a commodity's supply chain
- Assessing impacts of energy transition efforts on future demand
- Researching, analyzing, and publishing commentary on topical events pertinent to metals & mining markets
- Regular publishing and production of price forecasts
- Participation in business development activities and external representation as required, such as at conferences or client roadshows
- Communication on and defense of your work to clients
- Some business travel as required
- At least 3-5 years established experience as an analyst in the metals or mining space, preferably with direct exposure toothercommodities as well.
- Strong English communication and writing skills is desired.
- Understanding of environmental, social and governance concerns pertinent to the mining industry.
- Degree educated, for example including mining finance, engineering, chemical disciplines, economics, or business.
- Advanced MS Excel Skills (Required).
- Solid numeric analytical and problem-solvingcapabilities
- Familiarity with VBA, and SQL and/or Python programming language are a plus.

Requirements: The ideal candidate will have experience as an analyst focused on ferrous or non-ferrous metals, battery materials, or other critical minerals, be educated to degree level or above, and have an enthusiastic and keen approach to learning and developing on their existing knowledge of commodity markets. Experience in building supply/demand and price forecasting models will be advantageous.
