The Role
The Scholarship and Employee Volunteerism Program Officer shall develop, implement, monitor, and evaluate the Foundation's various programs that 1) provide access to quality education to financially-challenged but high potential students; 2) provide corporate social responsibility involvement to Security Bank employees; 3) address eyesight barrierto learning of students from classroom beneficiary schools. The role shall also lead data management, monitoring and
evaluation, and impact reporting through the development and enhancement of program databases and dashboards using Power BI.
How you'll contribute
Project/Program Management
1. Lead the selection, admission, processing of disbursements, management, documentation, database building, and engagement for Security Bank Foundation scholars
2. Develop, implement, monitor, and evaluate engagement programs for both existing and alumni scholars which will support their further growth and the other social development objectives of the Foundation
3. Develop, implement, monitor, and evaluate employee volunteerism activities which are intended to support the objectives of the Foundation's flagship programs
4. Lead the planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of the Foundation's vision screening and eyeglasses donation program for students from SBFI classroom beneficiary schools to address eyesight-related barriers to learning
5. Manage relationships with partner universities/institutions for programs handled
6. Develop annual program plan and budget for scholarships, employee volunteerism, and vision screening and eyeglasses donation activities
Communications
1. Develop and manage communication channels with scholars
2. Write press releases and social media posts about programs handled
3. Prepare entries of programs handled to various corporate social responsibility awards and recognition programs
Events Management
1. Organize in-person or online scholarship and employee volunteerism events by planning logistics and coordinating the responsibilities of internal teams and external suppliers/service providers
Data Management
1. Lead the development, enhancement, and maintenance of integrated program databases covering outputs, outcomes, impact indicators, and lessons learned for Foundation programs
2. Design, manage, and continuously improve data visualization dashboards and analytical reports using Power BI to support program monitoring, evaluation, decision-making, management reporting, and stakeholder communications.
Operational Excellence
1. Develop recommendations to improve program and activity processes to generate more effective results, reduce costs, and reduce processing time
2. Ensure compliance of programs handled to external regulations and internal policies
3. Identify, document, and develop mitigation strategies for program and activity risks
4. Ensure maximum stakeholder satisfaction of program/activity delivery and address causes of stakeholder dissatisfaction through process improvements
5. Develop/enhance program and activity guidelines and manuals of operation incorporating process improvements and risk mitigation strategies developed
6. Develop and manage databases and efficient filing system for activities and programs handled
