Our Information Technology team is looking for experienced professionals to join us in Makati City with the role of Data Engineer.
In this role, you will design efficient data systems and pipelines that align with business goals. You will transform raw data into actionable formats to support advanced analytics and modeling, and integrate diverse sources to generate powerful insights.

What the role will entail
- Lead stakeholder engagement and project planning to deliver data solutions aligned with business goals
- Partner with data science, business intelligence (BI), and cross-functional teams to apply insights
- Build scalable data lakes, warehouses, and extract, transform, load/extract, load, transform (ETL/ELT) pipelines using Structured Query Language (SQL) and cloud tools
- Automate workflows and optimize infrastructure for advanced analytics
- Ensure data quality through checks, architecture oversight, and pipeline maintenance
- Monitor and improve system performance, reliability, and scalability
What we're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or any related field
- At least 3 years of experience as a Data Engineer with proficiency in Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Structured Query Language (SQL)/non-relational (NoSQL) databases, and scripting languages (Python, Java, C++, Scala)
- Background in building data pipelines and stream-processing systems
- Proficiency in Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Structured Query Language (SQL), and non-relational (NoSQL) databases
- Ability to use tools such as Apache Airflow and Azkaban, and cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud
- Strong communication, leadership, and collaboration skills, with a problem-solving mindset and passion for innovation
