Job Summary

The Management Trainee will undergo a structured training program within the manufacturing plant, gaining hands-on experience in production operations, quality control, process improvement, and product design. This role is designed to develop future supervisors and managers capable of overseeing plant operations, leading teams, and contributing to product innovation.

Training Scope & Responsibilities

Production Operations & Plant Management

• Gain hands-on exposure to fabrication processes including cutting, bending, welding, assembly, and finishing.
• Assist in production scheduling, workflow planning, and manpower coordination.
• Monitor daily production output, timelines, and efficiency.
• Support implementation of safety standards and plant policies.
• Learn inventory management of raw materials and finished goods.

Quality Control & Process Improvement

• Assist in product inspection and quality assurance procedures.
• Identify production inefficiencies and recommend process improvements.
• Learn cost control, material utilization, and waste reduction strategies.
• Participate in plant audits and compliance checks.

Product Design & Development

• Work closely with Product Designers and CAD team in conceptualizing new products.
• Assist in preparing 2D and 3D drawings using CAD software.
• Support prototyping, testing, and product refinement.
• Contribute to improving functionality, durability, and aesthetics of products.

Costing & Project Coordination

• Assist in estimating materials and production costs for new designs.
• Coordinate with procurement for material specifications.
• Support custom orders and project-based production planning.

Leadership & Supervisory Development

• Participate in leadership and management training sessions.
• Assist supervisors in overseeing production teams.
• Prepare reports, production analysis, and improvement proposals for management.

Program Structure

• Structured rotational training within production, design, and operations.

• Regular evaluation and mentoring from plant managers and senior leaders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, Industrial Design, or related field.
• Fresh graduates are welcome; manufacturing exposure is an advantage.
• Strong interest in manufacturing processes and product development.
• Willingness to work in a plant environment.
• Analytical, detail-oriented, and proactive.
• Leadership potential and willingness to learn.
