- Assist in the management of mine survey and GIS projects, ensuring delivery on time and within budget
- Conduct mine surveys using total stations, GPS, DGPS, UAVs and other survey equipment
- Collect, manage, and analyze GIS data for use in mining projects
- Assist in the development of mine plans and designs using GIS software
- Coordinate with internal teams and clients to ensure project requirements are met
- Mentor and train junior staff in mine survey and GIS techniques
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in mine survey and GIS technology
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Mining Engineering, Geomatics, GIS, or related field
- Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in mine surveying and GIS, preferably in the mining industry
- Proficiency in GIS software such as ArcGIS, AutoCAD, and mining softwares such as Surpac or similar
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to travel to client sites as needed
