    POSITION: SENIOR COST AND PLANNING MANAGER

    JOB DESCRIPTION:

    Cost Management

    • Develop, manage, and control project budgets, cost plans, and cash flow forecasts.
    • Monitor project expenditures, commitments, and variations; ensure cost discipline and financial accuracy.
    • Review contractor billings, change orders, and claims; provide cost impact analysis and recommendations.
    • Lead value engineering and cost optimization initiatives without compromising quality or scope.
    • Prepare cost reports, forecasts, and financial dashboards for management review.

    Planning

    • Develop and maintain integrated project schedules (master and detailed schedules).
    • Monitor project progress against approved schedules; identify delays, risks, and mitigation measures.
    • Analyze schedule impacts of design changes, variations, and external constraints.
    • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, consultants, and contractors to align schedules and milestones.
    • Ensure proper planning logic, sequencing, and resource loading.
    • Prepare regular progress reports, earned value analysis, and management presentations.
    • Support management decision-making through accurate data, analysis, and forecasting.
    • Lead and mentor cost engineers, planners, and project controls staff.
    • Participate in risk management, scenario planning, and project reviews.

    JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.
    • At least 10–15 years of experience in cost management, planning, or project controls.
    • Minimum 5 years in a senior or managerial role handling large-scale or complex projects.
    • Strong experience in budgeting, scheduling, cost control, and project performance monitoring.
    • Proficient in project planning and cost tools.
    • Solid understanding of construction contracts, claims, and commercial management.
    • Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
    • Willing to work ONSITE at MOA COMPLEX, PASAY CITY
