Job Summary
We are a medical equipment supplier seeking a skilled and dedicated Biomedical Technician to join our team. The Biomedical Technician will be responsible for preventive maintenance services (PMS), troubleshooting, installation, and repair of medical equipment including ventilators and waste management machines. The role requires a strong understanding of electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems.
This position requires frequent travel across Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform Preventive Maintenance Services (PMS) on medical equipment.
- Conduct troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repair of medical devices.
- Install and commission new medical equipment at client sites.
- Ensure equipment is functioning according to manufacturer specifications.
- Prepare and submit service reports after every service call.
- Provide technical support and basic user training to clients when needed.
- Coordinate with suppliers/manufacturers for technical concerns.
- Maintain tools, test equipment, and service documentation properly.
- Follow company protocols and safety procedures at all times.
Qualifications
- Graduate of Biomedical Engineering Technology, Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical course.
- With experience in handling medical equipment is an advantage.
- Knowledge in electrical, electronics, and mechanical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and wiring diagrams.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Willing to travel nationwide (Luzon, Visayas, Mindanao).
- Can start ASAP.
- Willing to learn and undergo training.
- Able to follow instructions and company procedures strictly.
- Able to perform fieldwork, including lifting and transporting medical equipment when necessary.
