As an international company, we are looking for a Project Scheduler based in Makati City, Manila Philippines.

The Project Scheduler supports the development, maintenance, and tracking of detailed project schedules for utility-scale solar farms and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects across New Zealand and Australia.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline
• 3–5 years' experience in project scheduling for infrastructure or energy projects
• Proven experience with scheduling software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, or equivalent)
• Ability to prepare and interpret project schedules and milestone reports
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written) in English
• Prior experience supporting remote teams or international projects (preferred but not required)
• Familiarity with Australian and/or New Zealand construction standards or markets

JOB DESCRIPTION

Project Scheduling & Programming

• Assist in developing the integrated project schedule, aligned with the project WBS and execution methodology, by translating work packages, timelines, milestones, and constraints into a detailed schedule model.
• Ensure alignment of project schedules with implementation strategy, procurement timelines and resource allocations.
• Develop and maintain detailed look-ahead schedules and forward plans to support short-term planning and execution.
• Maintain project schedule to reflect the current plan; identify schedule issues and risks; update with actual data and maintain as-built record.
• Support construction planning and risk assessment processes.

Monitoring & Reporting

• Generate regular progress reports comparing planned vs. actuals and forecasts (e.g. milestones status) for internal and external stakeholders.
• Highlight variances and potential delays, proposing mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with the Scheduling Manager to ensure schedule updates reflect site realities.
• Maintain accuracy in data used for decision-making.

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Liaise with Project Managers, Engineers, and Procurement remotely to validate schedule inputs.
• Participate in virtual team meetings across AU and NZ time zones.
• Ensure effective communication of schedule updates and priorities.

Process Improvement

• Contribute to the refinement of scheduling processes and templates.
• Provide insights into patterns or repetitive delays to inform planning improvements.
• Passionate about applying industry-recognized standards and best practices.

Share knowledge and assist with team training and development where appropriate.

Financial management and reporting

• Responsible for ensuring that decisions are made within approved business unit budget and financial delegated authority.
• Provide regular reporting to Manager on status of all work (as relevant).
