- Justify Codes and Standards for the most optimal option satisfying the design criteria.
- Recommend chosen option for the Structural System to be used.
- Recommend enhancement of selected modeling techniques applicable to the structure.
- Ensure that identified project requirements from issued documents are compliant, supervise overall coordination of issued documents, and approve/rejects recommended tasks on staff and CAD operators .
- Ensure the workload and work schedule of all Structural Staff & CAD Operators.
- Supervise the coordination with architectural, electrical, and mechanical designs regarding design issues and concerns.
- Supervise the coordination with designers, subcontractors, and suppliers for design development.
- Implements safety and health plans for the project and in the workplace.
- Constantly updates himself/herself on the latest technologies and methods related to Structural Design.
- Recommend or approve the evaluated document control process for design changes.
- Manage the conduct of site inspections, physical structural assessment, and testing.
