    Roles and Responsibilities

    • Expectation of 2-4 takeoffs and proposals generated per day will vary based on complexity of project and number of sheets to be taken off
    • Familiarity with civil/demolition scopes and capable of understanding/reading all drawings.
    • Able to identify the demolition scope that may be picked up on details, elevations, and specific trade drawing sets that may not be shown in detail on the architectural drawing set.
    • Strong attention to detail in takeoffs and proposal preparation.
    • Create the bid quantity take-off, assemble the bid within our bid estimate template, create the proposal cover letter, and submit to the client while copying the Administrative Assistant and Chief Estimator.
    • Expect 1 meeting per week scheduled in advance on Tuesdays at 2:30 PM EST.
    • Training via Teams to create remote estimator SOP to be created by estimator.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of 5-8 years of experience doing plan On-Screen Takeoff (OST), (Planswift preferred)
    • Advanced background in Microsoft Office - Teams, Word, Word Proposal, Excel, etc. are primary tools for proposal creation and bid backup
    • MS Excel Quantity Entry from Takeoff
    • Strong English communication skills and attention to detail.
    • Works with administrative assistant to ensure bid log is current.
    • Works with Chief Estimator and Operations Manager to review bid details and logistic constraints.
    • Project Management role will be performed by other local assigned personnel
    • Amenable to start ASAP.
    • Amenable to work on a nightshift (EST) or ability to start work at 3 AM Manila time to be available for phone calls/emails pertaining to bids in NY after 2 PM EST.
