    Work Arrangement / Work Shift: Remote / Central European Time

    Role Overview: The Senior Accounts Payable Accountant is responsible for owning the end-to-end Accounts Payable (AP) function, ensuring accurate and timely validation of orders and invoice, booking, payments, reconciliation, and vendor communication. This role plays a critical part in maintaining the integrity of financial records and supporting smooth financial operations across the organization.

    The position ensures a strong control environment across all expense management tools and systems, including Spendesk, Navan, and NetSuite, by upholding compliance, accuracy, and proper documentation standards. As a key finance partner, the Senior AP Accountant supports management, colleagues, and vendors by delivering reliable financial data, resolving discrepancies efficiently, and fostering positive vendor relationships through clear and professional communication.

    What You'll Be Doing:

    • Take full ownership of end-to-end vendor invoice processing, ensuring all invoices are validated, approved, and paid accurately and on time, with no missing or delayed payables.
    • Bookkeep all AP and vendor invoices in the current expense management tools
    • and ERP systems (ie. Spendesk, Navan and NetSuite) in line with monthly end
    • close (MEC) timelines.
    • Maintain clear and proactive vendor communications, addressing invoice queries, payment concerns, and discrepancies in a timely and professional manner.
    • Manage and monitor shared AP inboxes, ensuring they are cleared weekly and all vendor inquiries, invoice submissions, and issues are actioned without delay.

    What You'll Need:

    • Degree / Qualification in Accountancy, Management Accounting or any similar or
    • related field
    • Minimum of 5 years bookkeeping or Accounts Payable experience
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, NetSuite or similar ERP and Spendesk
    • Strong collaboration and communication skills (written and verbal)
    • An organized individual, capable of prioritizing and handling large transaction volumes
    • High attention to detail and reliability
    • A passion for compliance and financial regulation
