    About Our Client

    Our client is a leading multinational company in the oil and gas and renewable energy sector.

    Job Description

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Site survey.
    • Cost estimation for roof retrofit / strengthening works.
    • Discussion with PE and customers for structural analysis.
    • Review of 3rd party structural analysis report.
    • Support identification and qualification of structural engineering consultants in the countries the company.
    • Vendor techno commercial discussion involving roof repairs.
    • Validation of structural integrity.
    • Validation of structural engineering study carried out by 3rd party.
    • Preliminary structural analysis.
    • Roof repair estimation
    • Getting accurate site technical inputs for installation of SolarPV.
    • Customer and EPC Tender validation.
    • Price validation - EPC and Component.
    • Involve in customer and EPC technical discussions.
    • Represent the organization in client meetings.
    • Be fully conversant with applicable local regulations and aware of any upcoming regulations with respect to Solar PV installation.

    The Successful Applicant

    KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

    • University degree bachelor's in structural engineering or related fields.
    • Minimum of 5 years work experience in structural engineering activities involving steel structures. Primarily with regards to framed roof structures.
    • Good knowledge of structural engineering codes - applied across APAC and global ones like ASCE and Euro code.
    • Structural analysis tools - STAAD, SAP R3 or similar.
    • Roof repair estimation.
    • Experience with Solar PV industry.
    • Knowledge of PV industry eco system - Suppliers, EPC and applicable regulations.
    • Verbal and Written expertise in English.
    • Willing to travel as required.
    • System oriented and good expertise using MSOffice.
