    Role Description

    We are looking for a WordPress Web Designer, Front-End Developer & SEO Specialist to design, build, and maintain high-quality websites.

    The role requires someone who understands professional web design principles, modern website performance standards, and SEO strategy, not just basic page building.

    You will work with platforms such as WordPress, Shopify, and Webflow while ensuring websites are fast, responsive, SEO-friendly, and visually professional.

    Speed and efficiency are very important. The ideal candidate should be able to deliver high-quality work quickly while maintaining strong attention to detail.

    Responsibilities
    • Design and build modern responsive websites
    • Develop websites primarily using WordPress
    • Work with platforms such as Shopify and Webflow
    • Create clean, modern website layouts with strong UX
    • Implement SEO strategies to improve organic rankings
    • Perform on-page, technical SEO and site optimisation
    • Optimise page speed and Core Web Vitals
    • Upload, structure, and format website content
    • Maintain and update client websites
    • Assist with hosting setups, migrations, and domain configuration
    • Ensure websites work smoothly across desktop, tablet, and mobile
    Technical Requirements

    Strong experience with:

    • WordPress website design and development
    • Front-end development (HTML, CSS, basic JavaScript)
    • Responsive web design
    • Page builders such as Elementor, WPBakery, Flatsome UX Builder, or similar
    • Hosting environments such as
    • cPanel
    • AWS
    • VPS hosting
    • Managed WordPress hosting
    • Domain, DNS and email configuration (Google Workspace, Outlook, SMTP)
    • Website performance optimisation and caching
    • Website migrations and troubleshooting
    SEO Skills

    Strong knowledge of:

    • On-page SEO
    • Technical SEO
    • Link building strategies
    • Google ranking factors and algorithm updates
    • Keyword research and search intent
    • Internal linking and content structure
    • Schema and structured data
    • Local SEO optimisation

    Experience with:

    • Google Search Console
    • Google Analytics
    • SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, or similar

    Understanding of Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO) and visibility in AI-driven search platforms is a plus.

    AI & Modern Tools

    Experience using AI tools for productivity and optimisation, including:

    • ChatGPT or similar tools
    • AI-assisted research and workflows
    • Understanding how AI impacts search and SEO
    Bonus Skills

    Nice to have but not required:

    • PHP development
    • Advanced CSS
    • Tailwind CSS
    • Headless CMS frameworks
    • Experience deploying websites using Vercel or Netlify
