    • Abstracts patient charts and assigns appropriate diagnostic codes. This function is accomplished in a prompt and reasonable timeframe by productivity and accuracy standards.
    • Synopsize important information from patient records and assign/review medical codes for accuracy.
    • Responsible for ensuring codes meet all federal, legal & Insurance regulations so payments are obtained in a timely manner.

    Must Have

    Active CPC/CPC-A license (Accepts Non-Medical Allied graduates) or any coding license with or without coding experience
