    Job Title

    Talent Acquisition and Talent Management Assistant Manager - Asia Region HR Team

    Position Details

    Responsible for driving the full spectrum of talent strategies across Asia Region. Focuses on finding, attracting, and hiring top talent (TA) while implementing initiatives for developing, engaging, and retaining employees (TM). The role will blend strategic thinking with operational execution to support regional growth, strengthening the employer brand across diverse cultures in Asia.

    Roll out LG Electronics' global HR philosophy across Asia-based subsidiaries (Australia, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Taiwan, Vietnam) and align regional HR operations with global standards.

    Implement LG Electronics' global HR policies and programs consistently across all Asia subsidiaries. Ensure full adoption and adherence to these policies at the local level.

    Provide operational and strategic support to the Asia Region HQ's HR initiatives. Assist in executing HR guidelines and activities that enable subsidiaries to achieve operational excellence.

    Harmonize local HR practices with global HR strategy. Foster seamless coordination between regional and global HR functions to drive unified performance and compliance.

    Experience

    • At least 5 years relevant experience in both Talent Acquisition and Talent Management, preferably within a Multinational Company (MNC) environment in Asia.
    • In-depth understanding of the labor market, recruiting channels, and cultural nuances across various Asian countries.
    • Proven expertise in end-to-end recruitment, competency-based interviews, and performance management tools (e.g., SuccessFactors)
    • Bachelor Degree. MBA will be considered as a differential.

    Roles & Responsibilities

    Talent Acquisition

    • Strategic Sourcing: Develop and execute comprehensive recruiting strategies to attract high-potential talent across diverse Asian markets.
    • End-to-End Recruitment: Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for key positions or critical roles, ensuring positive candidate experience and strong partnership with hiring managers in Asia Region.
    • Manage and monitor the recruitment status of B2B (ID and SAC) of Asian region and subsidiaries. Frequently communicates with B2B VP, AS Head, and ID Head to provide recruitment progress with regular communication with HQ.
    • Optimize recruitment cost to manage labor cost
    • Pipeline Building: Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future needs, focusing on passive candidate sourcing.
    • Metrics & Reporting: Utilize applicant tracking systems (ATS) and data analytics to track key KPIs (time-to-fill, cost-per-hire) and report on recruitment performance to Regional HR Leader.

    Employer Branding

    • Employer Branding: Lead regional employer branding tasks and activities, building the company's reputation as an employer of choice in Asia.
    • Establish partnership with LinkedIn Source for key positions or critical roles needed in Asia Region and subsidiaries. (B2B CRM expert, E-commerce / Platform / OBS expert, HR Leader, etc.)
    • Manage the strategic development of the external image and create suitable campaigns to support recruitment.
    • Creation or support of the subsidiary's recruitment and career pages.
    • Set-up and maintenance of recruiting profiles on job boards.

    Organization and Talent Management

    • Collects and consolidates Organization Talent Review (OTR) both subsidiary and HR presentations for Asia Region Team review.
    • Review past OTR action plans and monitor year-on-year OTR action plans status and completion.
    • Arranges and facilitates subsidiary and HR OTR discussion with Asia Region HR team.
    • Monitors and updates HIPO management, records and progress of development.
    • Performance Management: Review the Career Development Program and Career Aspiration of HIPOs, key positions and critical roles.
    • Succession Planning: Work with Regional HR team to identify high-potential employees (HiPos) and develop succession plans for critical roles.
    • Learning & Development: Support the team in identifying training needs and partner with L&D Sr. Manager to implement development programs that enhance employee skills.
    • Employee Retention: Analyze turnover metrics, perform employee satisfaction assessments, and recommend strategies to improve retention across the region.
    • Onboarding/Offboarding: Ensure a seamless onboarding process that integrates new hires into the company culture and manage exit processes to gain actionable insights.
    • Partner with C&B Manager in creating and implementing a Retention Program.

    Other HR Support

    • Provide operational and strategic support to the Asia Region HR team related to C&B, OD/PD, L&D /Labor cost, HR Dashboard and data analytics.
