You must be willing to work in the office in the above office location to apply for this position Job Overview The Accounts Receivable position at optiBPO is crucial for managing the company's financial transactions related to customer payments.
The successful candidate will be responsible for processing incoming payments, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring timely follow-up on outstanding balances.
This role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with both internal teams and external clients.
Key ResponsibilitiesManage and process all aspects of accounts receivable, including invoicing, payment processing, and reconciliation.
Maintain accurate customer account records and update billing information as necessary.
Follow up on outstanding invoices and monitor payment statuses.
Resolve discrepancies and customer inquiries regarding billing and payment issues.
Prepare and maintain accounts receivable reports to provide insight into customer payments and aging accounts.
Assist in month-end closing activities related to accounts receivable.
Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with accounting policies.
Requirements
Previous experience in accounts receivable or a similar financial role.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle customer inquiries professionally.
Experience with data entry and record-keeping in an accounting environment.
