- Assist in closing and preparing monthly financial reports, including bank reconciliation, balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports
- Review accounting entries by verifying and justifying the reasonability of each transaction
- Participate in preparing monthly tax filings, yearly audit reports, and tax returns
- Perform quarterly inventory checks at store locations
- Assist in preparing compliance documents for new stores
- Liaise with Auditors, Tax Agents, Bankers, keeping abreast of new government policy regarding financial reporting, compliance and tax submission
- Perform other accounting duties and support junior staff as required or assigned
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy is required
- Proven experience (around 5+ years) in accounting and bookkeeping roles is essential
- Expertise in Tax filings, Tax computation, and related tax process or documentations is necessary
- Strong and in-depth knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations is required
- Fluency in English along with good attention to detail is needed
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn is desired
- Experience in retail sector would be advantageous
- Ability to commute daily to office is necessary
