Executive search firm, Monroe Consulting Group Philippines, is recruiting on behalf of one of the exclusive distributors of concessionaire wines and liquors. Our esteemed client is seeking an Area Manager to oversee store operations in the Visayas area.

Key job responsibilities include:

• Managing and overseeing the day-to-day operations of retail stores within the Visayas (Cebu, Bacolod, Iloilo) area.
• Supervising and guiding Area Supervisors, with each responsible for 10 outlets (totaling 20 outlets).
• Reporting directly to the Operations Manager and collaborating with sales supervisors in three areas (7 HC with 35 outlets).
• Conducting regular visits to SM supermarkets in Visayas with the sales team to mentor, assess program implementation, and conduct competitor checks.
• Acting as a "policeman," monitoring the activities of the Area Supervisors and ensuring compliance with company policies and standards.
• Managing turnover rates by assisting Area Supervisors in recruiting replacements, promoting coordination, and implementing effective monitoring.
• Taking charge of monitoring and achieving sales targets, working closely with the Operations Manager.

Key job qualifications:

• College graduate, but open to candidates with a vocational course or undergraduate degree, given relevant industry experience.
• Proven retail selling experience of at least 2 years.
• Experience in supervising and mentoring teams.
• Willingness to travel within the Visayas area.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Availability to work six days a week (Tuesday to Sunday), 8 hours per day.

Salary range: PHP 25, PHP 35,000.00 per month
