    General Accountant

    Iloilo City, Philippines

    Full time, Night Shift

    We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable General Accountant to join our team in the Philippines. The ideal candidate will manage end-to-end accounting functions, ensure statutory compliance, and prepare accurate financial reports, supporting effective decision-making across the organization.

    Responsibilities

    • Handle daily accounting transactions: Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger entries
    • Prepare and maintain financial statements, reports, and records
    • Communicate financial reporting to management clearly and in a timely manner to support decision-making
    • Manage payroll processing and employee reimbursements
    • Coordinate with banks for transactions, reconciliations, and funding requirements
    • Support internal and external audits
    • Maintain accurate financial documentation and filing for compliance
    • Monitor working capital and ensure timely vendor and statutory payments
    • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
    • Ensure compliance with BIR, LGU permits, SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, SEC, PEZA
    • Collaborate with HR, Admin, and Operations for finance-related processes

    Must Have

    • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field
    • Minimum 3 years of solid accounting experience
    • Knowledge of bookkeeping, financial reporting, payroll, and Philippine tax laws
    • Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software/systems
    • Ability to communicate financial reporting clearly and timely to management
    • High accuracy and trustworthiness in handling financial data
    • Ability to interpret financial data, assist in budgeting, and support forecasting
