    Hearing Care Specialist

    Job Level: Clinical Operations

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Selects and administers tests to evaluate hearing or related disabilities.
    • Administers basic hearing tests including air conduction, bone conduction, or speech audiometry tests.
    • Trains clients to use hearing aids or other augmentative communication devices.
    • Covers impression creation or modification for earmolds and hearing aid shells.
    • Maintains or repairs hearing aids or other communication devices.
    • Demonstrates assistive listening devices (ALDs) to clients.
    • Diagnoses and treats hearing or related disabilities under the direction of an audiologist.
    • Performs basic screening procedures such as pure tone screening, otoacoustic screening, immittance screening, and screening of ear canal status using otoscope.
    • Performs other job-related functions assigned by management.

    Education Requirements:

    Graduate of medical-related courses. A graduate degree in Audiology is preferred.

    Licenses and Certifications:

    A licensed Audiologist is highly advantageous.

    Work Experience:

    With background in Audiology, capable of learning how to conduct hearing tests.
