*Operates WIRECUT AND EDM machinery and equipment used in the manufacturing of products
*Follows all required work and maintenance instructions and procedures
*Loads component materials into product specific tools
*Inspects parts visually and dimensionally to assure conformance to requirements
*Performs basic set-up and operation manual machines when required
*Maintains machine maintenance and log
*Follows established documentation for product manufacturing, including but not limited to SOPs/work instructions, travelers, routers, prints and deviations
*Cleans and maintains machinery as necessary.
*Performs other functions as required.
*Ability to setup, operate, and monitor various Wire and Conventional EDM equipment.
*Ability to program EDM equipment using Robocut Fapt Cut, Espree, or similar software.
*Ability to generate simple CAD drawings using AutoCad or similar CAD software
*Ability to use standard toolroom equipment as required
*Ability to work effectively with internal/external personnel.
*Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
*Ability to read and comprehend instructions, blueprints, design specifications, correspondence, work orders and production schedules.
*Knowledge and good understanding of metals to be used from a range of metals and alloys based on properties such as harness and heat tolerance.
*Knowledge of machines and tools, including use and maintenance.
*Experience in the same industry
