The Development Estimator plays a crucial role in managing the financial health of construction projects by maintaining and applying Bill of Quantities (BOQ) documentation This includes overseeing cost control validating builder claims managing variations and producing regular financial reports The position is suited to someone with strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of construction processes especially in the Australian property sectorResponsibilities
- Monitor and control post-contract project costs by validating builder progress claims
- Manage and evaluate project variations using BOQ benchmarks
- Prepare monthly cost monitoring reports and accurate financial forecasts
