    GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

    The Product Manager is responsible for the PnL of the product/s that he/she handles. He sets direction for the product go-to-market with the strategic objective to generate revenues for the Company, specifically, for Managed Services, Managed Testing Services and IT Service Management with a focus on developing large multi-year deals.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Empowers the Sales team to maximize product sales through effective proposal crafting and deal closure strategies.
    • Provides essential pre-sales support to the Sales team, conducting client presentations and ensuring in-depth product knowledge.
    • Ensures product relevance and competitiveness by defining pricing strategies, outlining product roadmaps, and driving innovation initiatives.
    • Oversees delivery operations to enhance operational efficiency and directly impact profit and loss statements.
    • Strategically positions the product in the market, generating both passive and active leads through telemarketing efforts. Develops and provides sales collateral, including product decks and sales materials.
    • Expands the product portfolio by introducing new, viable products to create additional revenue streams for Yondu.
    • Manages relationships with third-party partners, including principals and vendors, to enhance product offerings and collaborations.
    • Equips the Sales team with comprehensive product training to enhance their selling capabilities.
    • Proactively gathers insights on competitor offerings to ensure the commercial viability of proposals and offerings.
    • Leads product strategy and go-to-market initiatives to drive long-term growth and success.

    Technical Expertise:

    • Provide an overall framework and estimation model for Managed Services, Managed Testing Services and ITSM deals with a focus on large multi-year deals, incorporating efficiency gain over time from problem management, automation, tools and accelerators uptake, shared services, pyramid refresh, etc..
    • Provide enablement and technical guidance and governance on solution development and integration to Technical Solutions Managers for solutions in the Manages Services, Managed Testing Services and ITSM areas.
    • Conduct/provide guidance for discovery/due diligence workshops with clients for the scoping phase of deal development.
    • Stay updated with emerging technologies, industry trends, and competitive landscape to ensure our solutions remain cutting-edge and relevant.
    • Identify opportunities for enhancements or improvements to existing solutions and the overall offering based on client feedback and market insights.
    • Drive the creation of innovative and comprehensive technical solutions that address client requirements, align with industry best practices, and showcase our competitive advantage.
    • Oversee the development of compelling proposals, presentations, and demonstrations that showcase the value of our solutions.
    • Other job-related activities that may be assigned from time to time.

    JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

    • Education – Bachelor's Degree in Business, Information Technology or equivalent disciplines
    • Related Work Experience - Minimum 5 years solid experience in Product Management and Technical Pre-Sales
    • Strength on B to B and B to B to C product marketing,
    • Exposure on IT related product/services
    • Knowledge – Understanding of the product's technical specifications, capabilities, and limitations.
    • Familiarity with relevant industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
    • Proficiency in designing and presenting technical solutions tailored to client requirements.
    • Knowledge of product development processes, including ideation, prototyping, testing, and release management.
    • Skills –
    • Ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
    • Ability to analyze market dynamics, customer needs, and competitor offerings to inform product decisions.
    • Skill in demonstrating product features and functionalities to potential clients, highlighting value propositions.
    • Capability to engage in consultative discussions with clients to understand their needs and propose tailored solutions.
    • Strong interpersonal skills to establish and maintain relationships with clients, internal teams, and third-party partners.
    • Aptitude for identifying and resolving technical challenges and issues during the pre-sales process.
    • Able to work independently and in a team environment
