    The Accounting Associate – Bookkeeping is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting daily accounting operations, and ensuring adherence to internal controls and regulatory requirements. The role contributes to the efficiency and reliability of the organization's financial processes by delivering timely and accurate financial information.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Maintain accurate and timely financial records in accordance with established bookkeeping standards.
    • Prepare, record, and reconcile financial transactions, including journal entries, schedules, and reports.
    • Implement and observe proper internal controls, accounting procedures, and company policies.
    • Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
    • Ensure compliance with Audit, Risk, Information Technology, ISMS, government, and regulatory requirements.
    • Provide financial support and assistance to internal and external stakeholders as needed.
    • Perform other related duties that may be assigned by supervisors or management.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or any related discipline.
    • Experience in bookkeeping or general accounting is an advantage
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting systems is preferred.
    • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
    • Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
    • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
