Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Engineer specializing in LED video, entertainment, and media technology to support the design, deployment, and lifecycle management of advanced LED video and AV systems. This role is hands-on and project-driven, with a strong emphasis on video processing, LED wall configuration, programming, installation, and commissioning for entertainment, corporate, and media environments.

The ideal candidate is based in Manila, comfortable working flexible schedules, and experienced collaborating with cross-functional teams using modern project management tools.

Key Responsibilities

1. LED Video Systems & Installation

· Assemble, mount, rig, and cable LED panels and cabinets to construct large-format LED video walls for entertainment and media applications.

· Configure and deploy video processors, controllers, and media servers to support complex video workflows.

· Execute on-site installation, system integration, and commissioning, ensuring systems meet design and performance specifications.

2. Programming, Calibration & Commissioning

· Program LED systems including mapping, scaling, and signal routing via video processors.

· Perform calibration for color accuracy, brightness uniformity, and panel alignment

. Support pre-installation testing, on-site commissioning, and post-installation optimization.

3. Maintenance, Repair & Troubleshooting

· Conduct routine inspections, diagnostics, and preventative maintenance on LED video systems.

· Replace faulty modules, power supplies, receiving cards, and other components.

· Perform component-level repairs, including pixel and PCB soldering when required.

· Troubleshoot hardware, software, and signal-flow issues across HDMI, SDI, fiber, and network-based systems.

4. Technical Support & Documentation

· Provide on-site and remote technical support during rehearsals, live events, and operational handover.

· Collaborate with project managers, designers, and vendors to resolve technical challenges.

· Maintain clear documentation, reports, and punch lists using project management and collaboration tools.

5. Site Surveys & System Planning

· Conduct site surveys to evaluate structural, power, data, and environmental requirements.

. Support system design development with a focus on video infrastructure and serviceability.

Required Skills & Qualifications

a) Technical Expertise

· Strong understanding of LED video systems, video signal flow, and AV system architecture, with a primary focus on video.

· Hands-on experience with LED processors, controllers, and configuration workflows.

· Solid knowledge of HDMI, SDI, fiber, networking, and media signal distribution.

b) Software & Tools

· Proficiency with LED control and configuration software (e.g., NovaStar, Colorlight).

· Comfortable working with project management tools (e.g., task tracking, schedules, documentation platforms).

Experience:

· Mid-Level Engineer / Senior Technician: 2–3 years of experience in LED video, AV systems, or electronics troubleshooting.

· Senior Engineer: 3–5+ years of proven experience delivering LED video systems for entertainment, events, broadcast, or media environments.

Practical & Physical Requirements

· Strong soldering skills and experience using precision hand tools.

· Ability to work at heights, lift equipment up to 50 lbs (23 kg), and operate in fast-paced, live production environments.

Work Location & Availability

· Based in Manila, Philippines (preferred).

· Willing to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends, based on project requirements.

Education & Training

· Bachelor's degree in Engineering or

· Technical certification or formal training in Electronics, AV, Broadcast, or a related field.

· Equivalent hands-on experience will be strongly considered.

Pay Structure:

Senior Technician P25,000.00 to P35,000.00

Technical Engineer P40,000.00 to P50,000.00

* Pay structure are negotiable depending on experiance.

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term

Contract length: 24 months

Pay: Php40, Php50,000.00 per month
