    Senior Fullstack Software Engineer (Java & Angular) – Build a Modern Digital Customer Ecosystem

    Join a distributed engineering team building a cloud-native digital ecosystem that supports the entire customer lifecycle—from product discovery to repeat business.

    About the Company

    You will be part of a distributed engineering team across Europe developing a Digital Customer Ecosystem that unifies eCommerce, product information, and digital services into one seamless self-service experience.

    The platform supports the full customer journey:

    Discovery → Evaluation → Purchase → Usage → Support → Repeat Business

    The team works in a Scrum-based environment, collaborating closely with architects, product teams, QA, and engineers to design scalable, high-quality systems.

    About the Role

    As a Senior Fullstack Software Engineer, you will design and build modern applications across Java backend services, Angular frontend interfaces, and Azure cloud infrastructure.

    You'll take technical ownership of distributed systems, work on microservices and event-driven architectures, and help shape the technical direction of the platform.

    This role requires a strong engineering mindset focused on code quality, automated testing, and maintainable architecture.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Design and develop backend services using Java (25) and Spring Boot
    • Build modern frontend features using Angular (18), TypeScript, and Angular Material
    • Develop and scale REST APIs and microservices
    • Implement event-driven integrations using Kafka, Azure Event Hub, and Azure Service Bus
    • Write and maintain automated tests (JUnit, Mockito, Selenium, Playwright)
    • Deploy and operate applications in Azure Cloud environments
    • Work with containerized workloads using Docker and AKS / Docker Swarm
    • Integrate services with messaging systems, APIs, relational and NoSQL databases
    • Collaborate with architects and cross-functional teams on solution design
    • Participate in Scrum ceremonies, estimations, and continuous improvement

    Must-Have Qualifications

    • Strong experience with Java and Spring Boot
    • Hands-on experience with Angular, TypeScript, and modern frontend development
    • Experience designing REST APIs and microservice architectures
    • Experience with event-driven systems (Kafka, Azure Event Hub, or Azure Service Bus)
    • Experience with Azure Cloud environments
    • Knowledge of Docker-based containerization
    • Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins or Azure DevOps)
    • Experience with Git-based version control
    • Experience working with relational or NoSQL databases (MS SQL, MySQL, MongoDB)
    • Experience writing automated tests for backend and frontend

    Good-to-Have

    • Experience with Domain-Driven Design (DDD)
    • Knowledge of Event Sourcing
    • Mentoring or technical leadership experience
    • Experience using AI-assisted development tools
    • Understanding of responsible AI usage in software development
