We are looking for a skilled and highly analytical Software Engineer with strong experience in developing accounting and enterprise systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, building, testing, and maintaining business-critical software applications, ensuring accuracy, performance, and compliance with financial and operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise software applications, including:
Financial Management Systems
Procurement/Purchasing Systems
Inventory & Warehouse Management
Sales & Distribution Systems
Billing & Collection Systems (Distribution, Leasing, Security, Investment, and Agriculture)
Fixed Asset Management
Production / Manufacturing and Inventory Modules
- Develop and enhance system functionalities such as:
Invoicing
Journal entries
Financial reporting
Tax computations
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.
- Perform unit testing, system testing, and debugging to ensure system reliability and correctness of financial transactions.
- Implement proper access controls, audit trails, and data validation mechanisms to meet internal and external audit requirements.
- Optimize system performance and scalability.
- Serve as a developer for web-based applications, contributing to design, development, testing, and deployment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across multiple projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance, Operations, QA, and IT) to deliver system enhancements.
- Participate in code reviews, documentation, and knowledge-sharing activities.
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or any related 4-year computer-related course (or equivalent).
- Minimum of 3–5 years of professional software development experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Solid understanding of system design, database management, and application architecture.
- Experience in developing enterprise or ERP systems is an advantage.
- Knowledge of audit controls, data validation, and financial compliance processes is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Willing to work in Makati.
- Willing to work under a contractual employment arrangement.
Job Type: Temporary
Contract length: 6 months
Pay: Php25, Php35,000.00 per month
Work Location: In person
