    As a Claim Coder, you will be responsible for reviewing patient medical records, assigning accurate codes to diagnoses, procedures, and services performed, and ensuring that all billing submissions comply with the relevant coding regulations and standards. You will work closely with the billing team, providers, and clinical staff to ensure that all coding is accurate, complete, and timely.

    This is a FULL-TIME position and open to candidates based in the Philippines only.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Work efficiently to code 130+ claims per day with high accuracy.
    • Review patient medical records, including diagnostic test results, treatment plans, and clinical notes, to accurately assign ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes.
    • Audit clinical documentation as necessary to validate support of billed services.
    • Thoroughly review accounts for accuracy before sending claims/statements.
    • Collaborate with the team and lead/manager to resolve issues, identify areas for process improvement, and identify discrepancies.
    • Maintains knowledge of state fertility mandates and insurance coverage types to ensure correct billing.
    • Accurately log claim adjustments following departmental policies and procedures.
    • Handles special projects as requested.
    • Easily communicates trends and can gather supporting data for trend alerts.

    Qualifications:

    • Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) certification preferred.
    • Minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience in medical coding, preferably in a fertility clinic or related field.
    • Knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems, as well as coding regulations and standards.
    • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) and medical coding software.
    • Comfortable with using technology and virtual communication tools.
    • Willingness to work on a night shift schedule.
    • Willingness to use own equipment for the role.
    • Based in the Philippines and willing to work from home.

    Equipment Requirements:

    1. A dedicated workspace free of unwanted noises and distractions
    2. Computer: at least 8th Gen Intel CPUs or AMD Ryzen 2000 series equivalent or above.
    3. Computer Operating System: Windows 11 ONLY (No Mac Devices)
    4. Computer Memory/RAM: at least 16.00 GB
    5. At least 100 Mbps internet connection
    6. Webcam (at least 1080p) or Laptop Camera capable of the same resolution
    7. Dual monitor
    8. Backup internet connection and power source
