Job summary
Purchase of direct materials chemicals components or services in line with specified cost quality and delivery targets Analyzing the output of the MRP system aligning material requirements within the supply base Ensuring continuous supply of required materials communication of any supply problems which may pose risk or impact on business operations through daily order and supplier management Evaluating areas of opportunity for cost reduction savings to meet program budgets while ensuring compliance to business standards and procedures Assessing evaluating suppliers undertaking performance reviews to ensure OTD DPPM compliance managing performance activities Managing special projects working collaboratively with stakeholders counterparts from mother site Ensuring adherence to KPIs set for supply chain organizational performance Liaising shipping documents e.g Bill of Lading AWB invoice packing list with inbound logistics for processing clearance goods Developing implementing business processes improving supply chain systems processes execution Supporting product change requests communicating impact to inventory operations Upholding high ethical standard code conduct internal external dealings Participating EHS practices standards across site proactive reporting observed hazards recommendations ensuring safety well-being self others
