Our respected client is seeking well well-experienced manager with solid knowledge in application gained from a food additives industry for the position of Application Technical Manager. The job is based in Makati City, Philippines.

Job Summary:
The Application Technical Manager is to support industrial bakery customers in the application of the company. The position will support customers with the formulation of bread, pastry and sweet goods and the conduct of
commercial bakery trials.

This role will engage, together with the account team, in business development activities delivering differentiated technical services for Industrial Bakery Customers.

Key job responsibilities include:

• Plan and manage all technical applications activities for industrial bakery customers.
• Support on technical matters related to the customer's application/service need.
• Establishing and maintaining business, technical and some extent commercial l relationships with
• customers.
• Support the Philippines commercial team in launching new products and achieving market penetration in
• the local market.
• Developing and maintaining productive liaisons with external contacts to gather market information.
• Provide clear accurate and prompt visit reports that meet the company's guidelines and satisfy customer
• expectations using the LAMP (Large Accounts Management Program)

DELIVERABLES:

• Building and maintaining a professional network amongst R&D and Operations Executives and Managers in Philippine
• industrial bakeries.
• Identifying challenges and/or problems within customers' bakery operations.
• Identifying and proposing New Product Development in the industrial channel
• Conducting successful bakery trials of the company products.
• Troubleshoot quality issues and deliver the least cost solutions to the customer.
• Strong understanding and use of the company model
• Building constructive and productive relationships with the Philippines Commercial Team, the BI Product
• Director, the Malaysia-based NPD team and the Global Bakery Ingredients Development Team.
